Is anyone going to waste a few hours of their lives watching this pile of shite this evening ?

It would be nice to see ageing crooner, Engelbert Pumpnstink hit the heady heights once again but these eastern bloc countries seem to shaft us every year.

At the end of the show I can see Engelbert doing a quick rendition of ' Please release me.'

I love watching the results for the hilariously predictable voting.

I wouldn't watch the actual performances if all the other channels went dead, it was raining outside, and my internet connection was down.

I was going to meet Peter Andre for a drink, but it's too hot so I'll be watching this for the sarcastic comments from Graham Norton.

I preferred Wogan to Norton. Tonight I am looking forward to watching the Russian MILF's perform.

The music for the opening ceremony is enough to curdle milk. It's like Whirling Dervishes on acid.

Still not a bad voice for seventy six but he isn't going to pull in the young european male voters. Whoever organises the UK's entry is clueless. To win it we need someone like this young lady with a superb pair of lungs. You can tell she has all the natural attributes to be a big hit as a songbird. A catchy tune with a bit of eye candy. What could be better ?

If I didn't know any better I would say that the Russian MILF's are the Blessed Sisters of St Alopecia.

I'm certain that her right it is entirely exposed somewhere between 2:36 and 2:41. Can't be more specific, though - I can't look two places at once.

Engelbert coming second last was a complete waste of plane fare. He would have been better off staying at home and watching it on the telly.

Just saw the voting bit of the show and no surprises whatsoever - especially with the Eastern bloc countries ("Keep Motherland Russia sweet otherwise they could mount a new invasion" - style of voting!)

It's a disgrace. The sooner the Russians invade all these tinpot countries in the eastern bloc and form a United Soviet Socialist Republic, the better the music world will be.

Not just that RT but we have to make sure that the BeNeLux countries come together, the Germanic speaking countries are anschlussed and the Scandinavian countries are merged - then we could have a bit more of a chnace of winning the Song Contest
