Could it be to make money?

I know we're little more than an American colony these days but where will it stop?

Will they have us celebrating "Freedom from British Rule" Day?

They surely will - and not too long after that we'll all be celebrating Peeing Day on the second Saturday in March.

I'm nipping to Tesco now for some flour.

If I don't make it back, it's been great knowing you all.

I went to Tesco at 7.30 this morning, not a lot happening to be honest. I did manage to pick up a 4 pint bottle of milk for a quid, bargain.

Hardly a bargain. Only 89p at Asda.

Did you get out without being stripped bare? Or is Tesco a class above Asda?

What is the supermarket hierarchy these days?

Did you get out without being stripped bare?

I went to the one in Farnworth and they had a big sign up at the front door saying: "We are not doing Black Friday. If you want that sort of thing, get back in your chavvy car and go to the one in Walkden."

Or words to that effect.

My trip passed off without incident and I got home safe.

Bit boring really.

Mrs. McD just went down to Target to get a couple of iPads for Christmas, discounted on Black Friday plus with points they basically cost nothing. I told her not to go but she insisted... on her return, when I asked how it was, she simply replied 'Idiocracy' and went for a lie down.

I've been saying it for years, that film's coming true.

Give it 50 years and we'll all be drinking Brawndo and eating sand.

I'm waiting to see if I can get a Dyson supersonic hairdryer for any less than the £299.99, and a pair of Sony bluetooth headphones cheaper, (£79.99), but I'm not holding my breath.
I certainly won't be queuing up anywhere.

Is a hairdryer as bad as giving the Mrs a microwave and blender for a gift?
