U23s: Queens Park Rangers preview Alex-sam-4-x-3201-3300563_613x460

Bolton Wanderers' Under-23s continue their league exploits for 2016/17 by hosting Queens Park Rangers on Monday evening.

Taking place at Macron Stadium with a 7pm kick off, the game marks their second outing at the stadium this term following on from their season opener to Bristol City in August.

So far this term meanwhile, they have won one, drawn one and lost one of their fixtures with last Wednesday's reverse at the hands of Birmingham City seeing a youthful side feature for the Whites.

Admission will cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, while season ticket holders can attend for free.

he must be worth a place on the first team bench now surely? What do we have to lose?

Has to be on the bench while we have the injuries, doing it for the U18's is one thing but to take that into the U23's means he has to be worth a shot. He is small but that could work in his favour against bigger less mobile CB's in L1.

He could be our 20 goal player, nothing to lose at this stage in giving him a go.

He should definitely be on the bench and given the opportunity to train with the first team to show what he can do.

I assume Parky doesn't think he's ready. Why else would he bring in another midget with a top goalscoring record?

He wouldn't score one in the first team.

he's scored 4 in a u23 match, why wouldn't he be able to score in league 1? Why not give him the opportunity at least from the bench? We aren't exactly flush with attacking options at the moment are we?

An under 23 match consisting of 18 year olds.

i didn't realise you were such an expert on QPR's youth teams  Very Happy

He still deserves a go though, if we don't try him we'll never find out. Plenty of other players have played at much higher levels at his age

Give him a chance or the next thing you know he'll be going to Wigan for £200k. He should be on the bench to at least get the experience
