Another game coming up on Tuesday, and another chance to snap up some points, both teams had a winning weekend, but Millwall not pulling up any trees, and us not playing that well I'm going for 1-1.

We did OK at the weekend so a similar performance should see us get something from the game.

Ref watch: Darren Deadman to oversee Millwall meeting

Darren Deadman will officiate of Wanderers’ trip to Millwall on Tuesday night.

An experienced Football League official, the Cambridgeshire-based referee ran the rule over his first Championship fixture back in January 2006.

In total, he has taken charge of five Bolton games in the past with the Whites winning three and drawing one – last season's away defeat to Ipswich Town being his most recent Trotters outing.

Mr Deadman has overseen 13 games so far this season, dishing out 57 yellow cards and just one red card.

Stephen Finch and Andrew Aylott will run the line, while Dean Whitestone is the fourth official.

I think that an away win at Millwall would do wonders for confidence and as performances have been "mixed" recently a win would be invaluable in starting to provide a sense of consistency so I think there's more at stake than just the 3 points.
If we can nick a win and come away without any injuries or pending suspensions it will be an excellent night, but a loss will probably bring back the uncertainty and questioning of the manager's ability.

i reckon a 1-0 win with the goal coming from one of our ex millwall contingent (probably not trotter)

Though I think its going to be, optimistically, a draw, I still have this feeling that they always build us up (two wins on the trot), to let us down. We've a long way to go before we can count on any consistency.

Preview: Five talking points ahead of Millwall v Bolton Wanderers

1. Three wins, three clean sheets

Wanderers have found their form again in recent weeks following a blip in September, recording three wins and three clean sheets from their last three outings in all competitions.

The last time they put such a run together, they managed to extend it four matches back in December 2014. The opponents that day? Why Millwall of course, as Darren Pratley's solitary strike clinched all three points for the Whites at the Den.

While the skipper is still sidelined so will not be able to put in a repeat performance on Tuesday night, could lightning still strike for Bolton as they look to extend their recent run?

2. Pay on the day
Having sold 303 tickets so far for the Trotters' midweek trip to Millwall, tickets will also be available on the night of the game at the Den.

Wanderers' travelling support has been superb so far this season and you would expect it to be a case of more of the same come Tuesday night.

And while a Tuesday night trip to the capital was never going to result in the same away numbers as a jaunt to local-rivals Rochdale, you can be sure that the travelling Whites that do make the long journey will once again make themselves heard!

3. Strong recent form against the Lions
Bolton did the double over Millwall, without conceding a goal, the last time the two sides were in the same division back in the 2014/15 season.

The Trotters have actually only lost one of their last nine meetings with the Lions, winning seven along the way, while their last away defeat came back in January 1994.

From the last Wanderers side that took to the field at the Den, only Josh Vela is likely to start again on Tuesday, with Dorian Dervite and Darren Pratley the only other starters that night still on the club's books.

There may have been plenty of changes at Macron Stadium in the past two years, the Whites will be eager to ensure their recent form against the Lions continues.

4. Ex-Millwall players
Four members of the Bolton 2016/17 first team squad have turned out for Millwall in the past, and will be hoping to get one over on their former employers on Tuesday night.

Mark Beevers has shone for the Trotters at the back so far this campaign, having joined on a free transfer from the Lions and looks certain be named in Phil Parkinson's starting XI at the Den.

Fellow ex-Millwall players James Henry and Liam Trotter will be looking to earn recalls against their former side while Chris Taylor is battling to return to fitness in time for the trip to the capital.

Although not all four may feature on Tuesday night, it certainly adds an extra spice to proceedings ahead of the game!

5. Unbeaten in the capital
Wanderers are unbeaten from their two trips to the capital so far this season.

Having not won away from home for over a year, the Whites ended that unwanted record at the first time of asking this season away at AFC Wimbledon.

Then fighting out a 1-1 draw with Charlon Athletic at the end of August, Bolton have had to wait nearly two months for their next trip to the capital.

High on confidence after returning to winning ways in recent weeks, they will be eager to ensure they remain unbeaten in London come 9.45pm on Tuesday!

I feel like we can win this game although will be scrappy like a 2-1 or 1-0 win to the Trotters.

They are far too inconsistent to predict any result.

Anything is possible , apart from us scoring more than two goals.
