When do you finish work for Christmas?

Well Christmas is nearly here but you wouldn't know it in the good old NHS as our department is now 24/7 even on Christmas Day. Luckily i don't have to work Christmas Day but i am working on New Years Day and am in as normal on the days over Christmas that aren't Bank Holidays

When do the rest of you finish for Christmas and for how long? I might be depressing myself here when you all come back and say you are off for 2 weeks so go easy 

Finish 16:30 today, back Jan 4th, having an extra 2 days holiday tbh as I have to use them but 12 days ain't bad.

finish tomorrow lunch and back on Jan 3rd, would have booked a couple more days but used them all up

Finish Christmas eve. Back in on Boxing day.

No. Finish around 11.30,but I'm getting a lift to the match,so I'm in luck. Bus driver in Warrington told me the buses are finishing at 4pm,so I'd have struggled otherwise.

Finished on tuesday at 10am and go back the 10th of january

A decent Christmas break is one of 'em - Well done that man.

As for me, as I'll be the last one out tomorrow, I'll be sending everybody else home at about 12:00.

And then scurrying off myself at about 12:03, once the car-park's clear and they can't see me.

Back in on the 3rd.

And Boncey....I feel your pain because the year I had to be back in on Boxing Day at 4 am to fire the plant up was the worst Christmas ever.

I couldn't have a beer on Christmas Day and I was in bed for half eight.

Proper miserable.

Not that bothered really. I'm grateful I'm not the bloke I was working with yesterday.

Luckily he finished yesterday. Apparently,a warm bath is the order of the day when they burst. 

Never been troubled with piles myself.

I've got a true story about oral sex and piles but it's not for on here.

(I still feel sick thinking about it....)

Mainly working at home at the minute so I'll finish at around 4pm tomorrow . The missus is in hospital for some day surgery tomorrow (Friday) so I'll still be busy with domestic stuff (like cooking and all that). I might put in a few hours in as well between Christmas and New Year but I start back in earnest on  Monday 9th January

Its been an absolutely fantastic year.  Not missed anything with the kids. Only had to stay away a few times. Got some great regular customers. But the last few weeks have been hectic so looking forward to my break.  Done about 4000 miles in 5 weeks
