On his side’s final fixture of 2016…
We’re really pleased, it was a great win for us. It was a good game of football between two good sides and we knew how tough an opposition they were going to be so it was good to get all three points.

The first-half we played well but Scunthorpe came out and had a real good spell in the second half.

I still felt we could get the victory though and in the dramatic way we did it was excellent.

On James Henry’s impact…
He’s kept plugging away since he joined, he’s just been waiting for that special moment to come and it did today.

I thought when he came on he gave the whole side the lift of energy which we needed and it was a terrific goal to win us the game.

On the significance of his side’s victory…
It’s still three very important points, but it does have significance because it has come against a team that were top of the table with us.

Scunthorpe have been at the top for such a long period of the season, so for us to perform like that is pleasing.

On the Wanderers fans…
The atmosphere inside Macron Stadium today was the best I’ve ever witnessed.

I’d like to thank all the fans that came to today’s game because it wasn’t just a great atmosphere when we scored, but even when we were under pressure, they really got behind the team gave the whole side the confidence.

The supporters have a role over the course of the season to lift us when we need it and today they definitely played their part.

And finally on Monday’s fixture against Coventry…
We’ve got two wins from the holiday period so far now our focus is on Coventry where we have to be prepared against a team who will be scrapping for everything and fighting for their lives.

The challenge for us is to pick the right team and a team we believe is fresh and a team.

Now we need to make sure that we build on the two wins we’ve got so far and then head into the FA Cup weekend in good spirits.
