RIP Graham Taylor aged 72

Thought he was a decent manager and a likeable chap.

Thats a shame, he was a decent manager at club level but was well out of his depth with England and that documentary with him and his parrot Phil Neal did him no favours.

I do remember when he got back into club management at Wolves and his first game was at Burnden, i remember all the chants about not liking orange and turnips etc but he took it well.

He was also a decent summariser on the radio i thought as well and he did know his stuff.

...and at 72 that's a bit young. Those of us who are slightly older get a bit worried when people die at such a 'young' age.

To avoid a misunderstanding- I'm a lot younger than he was!
But it's another sad event in what's been a sad few months

Insensitive title. I expect a ban.

Or at least a yellow card.

Yes, I think I'll be just having a couple of lettuce leaves for my evening meal, then back on the rowing machine.

No point in worrying about dying if you're not as young as you used to be just be happy you got as far as you have. Besides its just a gateway to a higher existence in a better place.

Taylor did a great job he gave us a good few laughs and that's good for me.

Lusty: what would you want to be the heading on here in the event of your own death?

No chance. It's the comfiest chair in the house and will be usurped by the missus as soon as I start looking a bit peaky.
