Chelsea started it with Abramovich and then City took on the mantle of being the richest club in the world, where money is no longer an object.

But surely signing The Son of God is a step too far?

How are the rest supposed to compete with that....?

Mind you, he's injured now.

Apparently Jesus was supposed to sign for Chelsea instead of City but he would have been crucified if he'd signed for a club with a Roman in charge, even though Moses has had very few problems.

To answer the original question all salary caps are unworkable. You would have to be an idiot like Corbyn to think it a good idea.
