Bolton Wanderers' Under-23s host Cardiff City in their latest Professional Development League game on Monday evening.

Kicking off at 7pm at the County Ground, Leyland, the young Whites will be looking to extend their winning streak to four games after running out winners over Hull City, Barnsley and Sheffield United.

Their exploits so far this season leave them fifth in the table meanwhile, with eight wins, six draws and seven defeats to their name.

In contrast, City are currently third in the Southern Professional Development League with 35 points from their 21 games so far this term.

Entrance to the game will cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. Season ticket holders meanwhile can enter free of charge.

3-1 to the youngsters, and a good game of football, we switched the ball quickly across the pitch and you could hear the coaching staff encouraging the lads to play forward quickly and not take too many touches.

kept an eye on Jeff King as we were trying to sign him to the first team if reports are to believed, played on the left side of the pitch for the majority of the game and was a good outlet, made some good runs and committed defenders in the box and would have been close to MOM.

Wilkinson put in a strong performance and from what I have seen the last couple of game will be challenging Madine for the first team if he is still with us next year.
