I hope to get in some walking, travelling, Cinema, shows, pottering, golf and try stuff that i have never dreamed  about.  Yes a touch of trepidation i worked with a great set of people i have always enjoyed the crack, so it's new for me.

Comes at the right time i have two granddaughters under two and my other daughter is expecting twins in May. I may be very busy lol

Even better wessy.  Enjoy your time with them.  My sons just turned 8 on monday and my little girl is 4 at the end of may.  I cant believe how quick it is going.  Already talking about and lookinf at secondary schools (or high schools as they call them in Salford and america)

I've been done a while now, really enjoy it, always busy, also got another Grandchild on her way in May.

We are the same age bounce, i have gone 17 months early, i planned it a couple of years ago, spent two years getting the jobs done on the house, i am fortunate i had a final salary pension, was penalised a little for going early, but in a decent position, so no i didn't consider working longer.

I figure if i can manage now, once the state pension kicks in i should be fine.

I work with a guy who decided to carry on,and he's still going at 72. His mortgage is paid,and he has two private pensions,but he says his Mrs would have him on a string if he gave up work.
He's part time now,but determined to keep out of his wife's clutches.
