Scary stuff indeed, my facebook feed is full of all this conspiracy tripe and i wonder what people who i know actually believe this rubbish

The Sandy Hook incident and saying it was a set up is a disgrace and as the man says if i'm wrong i need to be institutionalised, well pass him padded jacket now. That poor man lost his Son and has to put up with shit like that 

I read that article earlier and almost couldn't believe what it contained.

We live in a crazy world nowadays.

If you are into conspiracy theories, take the time to watch Adam Curtis's "Bitter Lake" currently on the BBC i-Player although it's more an interpretation of the hidden history of the relationship between the USA, UK and the Saudis which protected Wahhabism (founders of Al Quaida and ISIL)  in return for oil - In particular it focuses on the deal struck between the Americans and the Saudis which effectively opened the door for the spread of extreme Wahhabi beliefs throughout the Muslim world which had previously been more secular.

It also outlines how the British Army misinterpreted the situation in Afghanistan and was manipulated by the warring opium ganglords to attack their enemies for them. There's a moving bit in which a British Army Officer talks about how our presence in Afghanistan and Iraq made the situation far worse than it would otherwise have been and how the British obsession with the Taliban missed the point.

Whatever you conclude from it, it's a fabulous film that uses archive film, home movies and documentary techniques and I think everyone should see it.

Curtis has also done a similar piece questioning the accepted Western narrative of events called "Hypernormalisation" which is also well worth a watch.
