Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I went to McDonald's drive thru earlier this week (I know I know but I survived so it's all good). I had ordered meals for various family members and this included six drinks. I get to the window, the bloke gives me the bags of food, and then has all the drinks on the side next to him.

He then says to me, "do you want cup holders for these drinks?"

What a stupid question.

No mate, I'm a fucking human/octopus hybrid, I'll just hold them all while I drive home. Jesus christ, I don't know where they find these people.

Has anyone ever asked you the most stupid question imaginable?

Years ago I was riding a motorbike when an idiot pulled out of a pub car park straight in front of me and because there was traffic coming from his left, stopped at the mid point thereby blocking the entire road. I swerved inside (rather than face the head on car) hit the pavement, went up a banking and fell off the top and lay unconscious for a couple of minutes in a pile of twisted bike and a pool of blood. When I came round I was surrounded by a bunch of people who'd piled out of the pub, drinks in hand and the idiot driver leant over and asked me "Are you alright?"

I asked for a black Americano this morning and the girl making it asked 'do you want milk?'

I think my favourite has to be about 3 months after I had moved to New York in '98. There was a kid in his mid-20s working in the office who asked me if Great Britain is in London.
