RIP Emma Chambers. She was very funny in The Vicar Of Dibley.

Died of 'natural causes' at the young age of 53. What a shame.

A cold one too,I'll bet. I was still busy sorting books for the charity shop. Nice win for the Devils though.
Great win. That's me and the lad circled. We had to leave with about 8 to go as he was knackered and freezing.  They put the kick off back to 8 from half 7 Sad

In the midst of a mild rant about the weather,I stumbled upon this, which brought home how lucky I've been,in that I've never had to have this conversation.
It's a hard watch.

Really enjoying having the leisure to look through some old pictures. Check out the Wanderers of 1913/14. Tremendous caps.

I appear,as of today,to have renewed my ST membership. I always get excited when they email me.

Don't know what they're up to at the moment, but they always seem to be having meetings,in order to discuss the best time to have a meeting.

The meeting is then postponed.

I see our newest member is Tonto.

Wonder if he's a loan arranger?

Maybe.

Although I thought he said he wasn't bothered about Nuts and that I'd be begging him to return a few days after he was banned?

Very Happy

I didn't think it was very good. Whatever point it was trying to get across, (Franco and all that), it was too drawn out.

 I beg to differ. He's obviously too cheap to buy slippers.

Looks to me like he wears boots and camouflage jimjams at home.

I wouldn't want to be stuck in a lift with him.

I've met people like that, they think they are being clever and it becomes a way of life to them.  I guess they can't see how pathetic they are.

Fair enough if you haven't got a penny to your name and have to do things like to survive but this bloke as a car, home, phone, wife, printer (and presumably computer) and yet he's frigging about grovelling on the floor for other peoples ticket stubs.

The sad bastard.

Yes. I used to work with a bloke who used to go to retail parks looking for loose change dropped near the windows of fast food outlets. He also grabbed trolley's that still had the pound in them, and took them back.
He often made five or six quid. He became a pain in the arse to everyone, and we were all delighted when he moved on to another job.
