A result that could come back to bite us on the backside. Results haven't gone for us today, lose on Tuesday and we'll be back in the shit.

With Parkinson in charge we've always been in the shit.

What result didn' go for us? Barnsley conceded a 90th minute equaliser and Burton lost. They are the only two that really matter.

Reading won. Barnsley got a point nearer us. It will look even worse if B'ham beat Ipswich tomorrow.

We haven't. But if Henry and Pratley were rested I'll be seething, I've already ironed my bed sheets in anticipation.

We could do with a point today - a win would be fantastic.

Blues play tomorrow?

Its an old cliche that in a relegation battle, every remaining game is a cup final.
Have to say that against Leeds it looked more like a testimonial. Couldn't have started either half any slower than they did, deserved to get beaten and have piled unnecessary pressure on themselves for the Birmingham game, which if we lose and other results go against us could very quickly turn to panic.

This result is no biggie assuming Birmingham lose today.

Big assumption though. Our lacklustre performance combined with the other results couldn't have done more to incentivise a rapidly improving Birmingham side.

Birmingham will hammer Ipswich. And probably us.

Megson out.

How are Birmingham rapidly improving? Yes they won a match but they lost the SEVEN matches before it (Including at home to Barnsley).
If we had done that everyone would be calling for Parkinson's head.

They did sack their manager after that bad run - that's the problem from our perspective.
Their performances have been so much better since Monk took over what was previously a spineless side. First game they gave Boro a run for their money, but narrowly lost out to a Bamford goal. Then they almost turned Cardiff over away from home losing by the odd goal in 5. That was followed by battering Hull 3 nil and then today winning against Ipswich so that they are now in the position to leapfrog us if they win on Tuesday.
Considering where they were, that's rapid improvement in anyone's book and they'll be 100% confident of winning and pushing us down to 21st.

Why are pubs so stupid that they let themselves be taken over by mobs of away supporters? I know it pays well but there's just too much risk involved. They bring the problem on themselves!!
