Two days before our crunch match with the Tykes and all the signs point to a Barnsley home win, but I guess we've got to hope that somehow we'll get a result.
First the bad news starting with form:
In the last 5 games both teams have conceded 8 goals but Barnsley have been better in front of goal scoring 6 compared to our two which resulted in 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses for them whilst we won 1 and lost 4 in a row.
Last home game we surrendered to Millwall whilst they beat Sheffield United.
Barnsley have a game in hand and a much superior GD mainly due to their ability to score goals, although their defence is only marginally less leaky than ours.

The good news is that we are now so desperate for a win, Parky and the team know that they will have to pull something special out of the hat.

It's shit or bust for Parky so I'm going for a draw - although that probably won't be enough.

KP please change your avatar. That knob once came into a restaurant I used to own, loudly announced his presence to the customers and demanded to inspect the kitchens. Perhaps one of the most obnoxious little shits I ever met. We used to get a lot of famous people and in general the more famous they were, the less of a show they made and the more respectful to the staff they were e.g. Michael Palin who was an absolute gentleman. That dickhead was abusive to the waitresses and I really can't stand the sight of him so please change it.

There's only one way to go in this match - attack.

Negative tactics have got us nowhere of late and it's time to go out and actually try and win a match by scoring more goals than Barnsley.

Little - Burke - Wheater - Taylor

Morais - Pratley - Henry - Robinson

Le Fondre - Ameobi

Far from perfect, but at least there's a bit of pace in there.

If we go into this match playing for a 0-0 that will be the end of supporting BWFC for me this season, and until Parky is shown the door.

Away win. Just. Parky always seems to pull us from the brink

We’ll go 1 up in the 12th minute through Le Fondre. Then subsequently miss a penalty in the 19th minute.

They’ll equalise in the 73rd Min and David Wheater will pop up in the 91st minute with a bullet header from a corner.

There's a chance Parky might pick Beevers to mark Kiefer Moore who is 6 foot 5 and bullies defences a la Madine. They are a young side compared to us and on one forum the Barnsley fans were questioning their stamina - citing that endurance sports such as Tour de France etc are dominated by over 25's. Most predict a win for Barnsley, but the subtext is that they are as worried as we are.

Looking at the highlights of the Ipswich game,Barnsley created some decent chances. I'm seriously worried.

Michael Jones is set to take charge of Wanderers’ Sky Bet Championship trip to Barnsley on Saturday.

The Chester-based official, who became a Football League referee in 1997, will be overseeing his first Whites fixture of the season.

He has presided over 23 matches so far this campaign, brandishing 92 yellow cards and three red cards.

Matthew Wilkes and Nick Hopton will run the line, while Jeremy Simpson is the fourth official.
