If there's already a thread for this I can't see it so sorry if replicating, but I for one am really looking forward to the game as it could be a real challenge and may provide some perspective on England's chances of doing well in the competition.
"On paper" England should win, but they'll be playing on grass where in their last five games since they won their qualifying league, Tunisia have beaten Group B leaders Iran and Costa Rica, drawn with Portugal and Turkey and lost by a single goal to Spain, so they will be no pushover.
Tunisia fancy their chances of turning England over and progressing to the knockout stages alongside Belgium - at England's expense.
Quality opposition and a real test for Southgate's youngsters.

If everything goes well we could smash them - but this is the World Cup and things generally don't go England's way. Bring it on!

Kyle walker should know better than to have his arms out like that in the bloody penalty area!

I know we should have had a pen for that considering the 1st one the ref gave.

I think it’s time for a change of legs...

Great result, shite performance against a very poor team.

Stirling, Lingard & Alli should all be sent home.

First 20 minutes we looked the best side in the comp. God knows what happened from there

Sterling is the new Walcott. Will probably get 80-odd caps without ever doing anything in an England shirt.

Thought Rashford and Lofus-Cheek made a huge difference when they came on. I just hope Southgate has the balls to leave Stirling on the bench on Sunday.

Sterling is one of the first names on the team sheet for me, he’s had a great season at city. Lingaard and alli were shocking

Someone needs to sort out the Video judging - two assaults on Kane in the penalty box - nothing given.

Dreadful officiating.

Lingaard was poor, should have scored at least 2 and responsible for Rashfords dummy. RLC has to start next game for me.

Are Stirling and Sterling two different players?

Especially when they get given a very soft penalty! It makes you wonder how honest the referee is.

We scraped that one, but I hadn't we can get a win what Peru and go in more relaxed aunt Belgium. This would set us up for a good result, and a win would boost confidence going into the next rounds...

I hope we get into games a bit more, Tunisia were a bit of a surprise package even though they didn't threaten much. Do many easy soft fouls conceded.

A bit daft of us to travel 1000 miles south for a game in 25 degrees hear against a team who come from the dessert.

Great start then went off the boil as usual. Alli and Sterling were poor but i can't see Southgate dropping them just yet especially as we have Panama next.

Alli is a petulant little shit. And that's why he'll never be world class

The game amply demonstrated the old adage that if you don't take your chances when you're on top you are always susceptible to the vagaries of the game coming back to punish you, whether it's by a soft penalty, outrageous bad luck, bad refereeing or a piece if skill.
We got away with it in the nick of time whereas Germany, Brazil etc didn't.

Kane apart, it left a big question over our finishing ability and a few selection dilemmas but the result was monumental as a good win against Panama should now be enough to take all the pressure off the final game v Belgium - a game we definitely don't want to have to go into needing a win.

England are definitely a work in progress but the system and squad at least provide options for Southgate to work with - but whoever plays in attack will have to be more clinical in front of goal and whoever plays if defence will have to be more disciplined and focused especially when we are up against higher ranked teams than Tunisia who are more likely to punish profligacy.

Exciting, like driving a prototype racing car.
