We don't need all the seats, and the Reebok looks shit when its only half full.

So why don't we fuck the top tier off, Man City want to make their stadium bigger, so we'll give the top tier seats to them, and then try and get a player off them in the process ?

Plus, they'll be more atmosphere if we are all compact.

Send in the digger.

It wouldn't work, would it?

Their ground's bigger than ours, so if you tried putting our top tier on top of theirs, it's just fall in, like a ball going through a hoop.

Good idea in principle, but needs a bit of work.

I agree though it should be smaller.

Have we ever actually sold out a game? Don't think so.

Bolton's record attendance (28,353) was against Leicester City in 2003, that must be pretty close to it!

Was that the game that Robbie Savage got half our team sent off?

Not sure, we drew 2-2 if that helps?

Can't be, Bolton only got one yellow card in that game.

It would appear that Savage wasn't at Leicester then.

I'm confused now.

It must have been a later game that Savage got up to his tricks.

But we did draw that one as well, if I remember correctly.

Oh, I dunno.....!

(Savage, not you.)
 lol!

I've just updated my post above with a link to the stats for that game and would appear that Savage wasn't at Leicester then.

I like your thinking, but getting rid of the seating and going 100% corporate would be a much better idea. We'd rake it in.

No, it looks shit when there's a-load of empty seats, that's my point, to scalp the Bok. make it look like someone cares about it.

They should have made capacity something like 18k.

We drew 2-2 with Leicester in the 01/02 season and again in 03/04. The one that some might know as "the Savage match" is the one in 01/02.

Back in the Allardyce days, we regularly got near capacity crowds. Be fair, the football's generally been bloody painful since he left. If we went back up and started playing some decent stuff, we'd easily get crowds of 25,000+. again.

There's no point in reducing our capacity, especially when we get promoted next season.

Yes, we could be the snobs of the Championship.

What's better - 15,000 plebs paying an average of £20 and bringing their own food and drink, or 5,000 posh folk paying £200 a head to sit down and have a meal?

I really am surprised no one has done it.

And proper entertainment at half time, not that shit they serve up for the plebs.

plus it might keep the not-rights out.

Would the BUMmers take a table in the new all-corporate Reebok?

The BUMers would all have the best seats, on the halfway line.

We might even send someone down ''now-and-again '' to pick out the half time golden gamble.
