Josh Vela has signed a new deal, he's tied up till 2019.

Anybody genuinely excited by this news ?

50/50   glad to keep our younger players but still can't really see what all the fuss is about.  On the other hand if anybody is desperate to sign him they will now have to pay through the nose to get him.  Upwards of a Tenner I would imagine.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
There was a time when this would have been great news but he's been shite of late. He needs to start producing on a regular basis and earning his cash.

What next, Liam Trotter signs on until 2025?

My first reaction was really why  Then you think well if he comes good we get a fee.

He disappoints more than any other Bolton player due to the start he made, not worth a starting position but ahead of Trotter for me.

After todays performance no-one can be happy about this-apart from Vela who'll earn big money for doing his job badly for the next three years
