Scunthorpe and Sheff Utd both drew 0-0 tonight whilst we bagged all 3 points.
This means that we go a point in front of Scunny if we win our one game in hand on them, and close the gap to a single point again on Shuff Utd if we win our two games in hand on them...
It is also of note that if we win our game in hand on Scunny we are at most 5 goals behind them on goal difference where once they looked un catchable...

Don't think we should get carried away just yet but it was indeed a good set of results bar Fleetwood coming back to win against Bradford - another draw there would have rounded it off.
Did you go to the match? Reports give the impression it was a scruffy win.

Scruffy is far too kind for it. It was dire. No idea who scored the goal, if indeed it was a goal, but it had previously looked like we could play until next Christmas and still not score. Complete hoofball up to Madine all match and he was winning nothing. He's gone back to being absolute shite again since winning that Player of the month award and just looks like a donkey again. I think Trotter touched the ball twice all night (giving away possession on both occasions) and how he's become a starter again I'll never understsand). A vital 3 points but an awful match.
