West Ham like to think they are a special case and a big club, they are wrong on both counts. Lots of other clubs have moved grounds and not been happy to start with but you have to get on with it.

The stadium isn't ideal but that doesn't give them the right to act as they did, kids were crying and were scared and will have been put off football for life after witnessing what they saw and the toxic atmosphere that went with it.

They keep saying it's not a football stadium.

It's got a pitch, and two sets of goals. What surrounds the pitch might not be ideal from a supporter viewpoint, but I'm not having this theory that the team are failing because of it.

The guardian of the boys on the Burnley bench...........

We were near the Burnley dugout when I tried to move the boys away from the trouble for our safety. It was then that Jeff Hendrick, Dean Marney, Phil Bardsley and Sam Vokes picked the boys up and invited them to sit on the bench.

Then one of the Burnley physios called me over and we stayed there until the full-time whistle. The Burnley lads were absolutely incredible. They gave the boys some of their shirts and boots. It was such a nice thing for them to do.

The boys went to school this morning thinking they were celebrities! They were absolutely made-up and I think they will keep a close eye on Burnley's results from now on, especially as they've got all the kit. I was really shaken up and felt very scared at first so I couldn't be more thankful to the players for helping me. They were human beings that saw three kids in trouble and took them to safety . What started off as an awful incident turned into an amazing experience.

Wow! Style looks good as well.....players able to dribble, pass and move, and shoot straight, even on a pitch that looked heavy. Saw one hoof....but it led to a goal.....

Lovely touch at the end, as the players went to thank individual fans by the fencing. Team spirit excellent, supportive of each other.

Thanks for that, BTID.     SKD, well done!

I made the same mistake. Possibly the worst game I've seen them play under Mourinho made even worse by the fact it's exactly the style he wanted them to play - effing boring.
Pogba was awful and the rest of them weren't much better, especially against a team with the likes of Blackburn reject Nzonzi playing for them.
They're doing well to consolidate 2nd place in the Premiership so they should get back into the CL next year, but what's the point if they play like that when they get there?

Blackburn reject?! He was brilliant for them, as he was when he could be bothered to turn up for Stoke.
Quality player and another outstanding find from BSA.

My sister-in-law is a mate of his mother. Says he's a really nice lad. First thing he did when he got a few quid was buy his mum a house.

Reading have just sacked Jaap Stam, with them sitting 3 points above the relegation zone in 20th position.

Just watched Wales batter China 6 nil, and Bale got a hat trick to break Ian Rush's national record in the process. Expected a lot more from China now they have such a competitive league. The Championship players were all impressive TBH.

England v Italy at Wembley tonight should be a better test of Southgate's youngsters but the good news is that Chiellini (who is immense IMO) won't be playing. Should win but Italy will press and defend much better than Holland did so good preparation for the World Cup.

Holland stuffed the current Euro champions Portugal last night. We beat and dominated Holland. Therefore we're clearly going to win the World Cup.

Being stuck inside with a bad back has its compensations. Looking through some old press photo's I came across this one of Warwick Rimmer holding the Third Division trophy. No idea why Charlie Wright is standing on one leg.

City well and truly hammered tonight, they just couldn't cope with Liverpool's pressure first half.
