Sorting through some old Wanderers pictures, and I came across one of Peter Olinyk. Anyone remember him?
I've got a vague recollection, but I don't think he played more than a handful of games.

Joe Hart has moved to Spurs which is an odd move. I've seen him being interviewed a few times and he always says he still has something to prove and wants to play regularly. He then signs for Spurs and is probably going to be third choice.

He would have been better signing for a Championship club and getting a regular game than just taking his wages for doing nothing, but i suppose that is the modern footballer in a nutshell.

Or, he fancies his chances knowing that something is afoot. Moves like this indicate other shifts. I’m predicting that he knows more than we do.

Love or hate him Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 100 goals for Portugal- 101 To be exact. What an achievement! If only England had such a prolific striker.
Thing is that a lot of them were really great goals too. Well done that man.

I am looking forward to the England Wales game tonight on free television. Apparently the Welsh have a man pulling a cart past houses from which they throw their Covid infected people onto and have sent them all to England for the game tonight.
They wont let English into their country because of Covid. Ladies need to wear a white doily around their heads and a bell bottom black skirt to pass the border checks. If the guard hands you your papers at the checkpoint and says " good luck ", make sure you answer in Welsh.

If I have to be serious for a moment, I have nothing against the Welsh. Its a nicer place to live and Id live there at the drop of a hat.
I spent many family holidays there when I was young and each one was wonderful.

England/Belgium HT. Watching England was reminiscent of watching BWFC yesterday - didn't even look like scoring before Henderson's dive.

Jammy win but it was against (most of the) world's top ranked team and we stifled the Belgian attack second half which was pretty good. 7 out of 10?

I am pondering whether to watch the Wales game tonight rather than England for a change. Would like to see crowds allowed back because they arent the same without.

I have enjoyed the Merseyside derby on the Radio. Everton has just equalised 2-2. Id rather listen to football on the Radio than watch on telly, its much more exciting. Radio is unobtrusive, also, and you can get things done while its on. Bliss.

Don't think the third Liverpool goal was offside. VAR is killing the game.

Very Happy There had been a sending off just before this. I couldnt believe ( some excitement ) when it was announced  a while after the 3-2 goal when they suddenly said they were checking for offside. Then there were individual screams of joy ( could hear them over the fake crowd noises )when it was announced it had been disallowed. Very Happy
