Sale shouldn't take long. According to FV it was nearly over the line when Bassini's injunction came in.

We'll see.

Could be completed before Emmerdale at 7pm.

I'll cartwheel naked to Tranmere if it is.

I'll be very surprised if FV do a deal before the 2nd September now.

So we are still stuck up that creek.

I note the reports about the findings in Court today which state the injunction has been amended, allowing the sale of the football club to continue unimpeded by this issue.
I know it has been a frustrating few days for all involved, causing a continuing delay.
Now we must progress to completion as quickly as possible in order to secure the future of the club.

Accordingly, my lawyers and I are in contact with all parties to progress to completion as soon as possible and give everybody connected with Bolton Wanderers the good news they deserve.

I hope to christ FV have the money and the interest in the club, and aren't just asset strippers in disguise.

They don't have the money. They had to take a loan from the league already.

There is no evidence that they have the money required to turn us around. As far as we know nobody at FV has the ability to write a personal check out for x millions of pounds. I still think its 50/50 that they bail on us.
I may have missed it but has anyone from FV made any statement regarding things like....who will be the chairman(woman), who will be running the club, who will be making football decisions, what are the immediate plans.....in the next couple of week etc etc.

This from Jewish Telegraph, this turd will not flush.

BREAKING: Laurence Bassini is closing in on purchasing Bolton Wanderers after a large number of creditors wrote to him saying they were unaware he was prepared to pay 100% of the debt. The JT's seen proof West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has underwritten £25m towards a takeover

::mad::

This is never going to end.

As for this news.... of course people owed money want 100% of it, not 10% or whatever they where offered by FV.

NIXON:

Snag with takeover. No details. Slip up with paperwork.
