God knows there's little enough on tv that doesn't have me throwing my slippers at it.
Are you not watching the re-run of Series 2 of Line of Duty?
Progammes don't come any better than that! Electric! Amazing plotting, characterisation, direction, acting, script, intrigue....even music and sound...Keeley Hawes is brilliant in it.

I'm not even watching a re-run of series one. 'amazing plotting, characterisation, direction, acting, script, intrigue'.

I'm still watching Bill and Ben, and Captain Pugwash.

Although I've gone highbrow recently. CH81 are showing The Lone Ranger from the very start. Great stuff. Tonto always manages to get himself captured and tied to a chair. Brilliant.

Didn't pull up any trees, but on the day he signed we waited outside to get his autograph, and he spent a good twenty minutes chatting with us. We came away buzzing. Nice bloke.
Wasn't wearing headphones to tune out the great unwashed like they do now.

Strange how events can trigger a memory. Learning of his death took me straight back to that day outside Burnden. I even remembered the names of the three lads I was with.
Hadn't thought of them for fifty years.

With your track record in accidents, is that really a good idea?  Very Happy

I've clearly not thought this through. I thought it was just swinging round a pole, but clearly there's much more to it.
It looks to me that I might be wise to have a medic and a fireman standing by.

Why don't women wear hats any more? Always liked those thirties styles.
Particularly on Louise Brooks, my idea of the perfect woman.

Test match is a farce, Boncey!
Ridiculous pitch to try and play a 5-day match on.

Yes indeed. Going in with only one spinner though was a mistake.

How could they get that so wrong? In spin-friendly India and with the clear pitch-doctoring from the last Test still fresh in the mind! Did we think they wouldn't repeat the dose?!

10,000 for this volume. There are many other volumes. Stopped counting after volume six.

But thanks for the good wishes.
