Wanderers averaged more than 20,000 supporters at the Toughsheet Community Stadium over the past season, but how do their figures rank among the rest of League One?

The Whites have been backed in numbers since the start of the campaign, with crowds higher than 24,000 on five separate occasions – those being the Wigan, Blackpool, Reading, Portsmouth and Barnsley clashes.

Bolton’s figures put them second in League One, with Derby leading the way. The Rams averaged more than 27,000 fans at Pride Park over the course of the season en route to securing automatic promotion.

Portsmouth also made the top three, with nearly 19,000 supporters attending games at Fratton Park as John Mousinho’s side clinched the title and ended a long wait to return to the Championship.

Charlton, Reading, Barnsley, Blackpool and Wigan were the other clubs in the third tier with an average figure higher than 10,000.

Burton were bottom of the list, with an average of under 3,500 fans at the Pirelli Stadium as they avoided relegation to the fourth tier. Fleetwood, Cheltenham, Stevenage and Wycombe were the other clubs with figures below the 5,000-mark.
