Forzafootball, great for keeping an eye on all football, non-league you name it its on there.

BWFC has just brought their new app out.

Couldn't do without it. Where else could you listen to hip-hop in Columbia or Ghana or New Zealand.

Uber, makes life a lot simpler and much cheaper for taxis.
City Mapper, gives the quickest routes and if you're cycling offers a 'quiet route' so I don't get killed.
Dark Sky, up to the minute rain notifications and how long for. Stopped me getting soaked on the way to a meeting today.

If you've got an Ipad and like pissing about making music you should really get Korg Gadget.

whosampled - I tend to use it on 90's Hip-Hop which samples a lot of jazz, good to discover the likes of Grant Green and Ronnie Foster.

There's an app '' I can't remember the name'' if you're abroad and can't read a sign, you hold up your phone and it translates it for you. Word Lens, you can read news papers and stuff using your camara.

Agree with 1874, (doesn't happen often), that City mapper is an excellent app. Used it to go to London recently, and it gave all the options for bikes, walking, buses,  trains, etc.

Tune in radio is a great app for when ur on hols.
You can get trip advisor apps for cities.
I have had apps for Munich, Berlin and Manchester.

songkick is a great app, you put in all your favourite bands or singers and it lets you know when they are touring.

I've tried to find show box but when i've checked on play store it says it is a lighting app!

National Rail app on Android is quite good for checking train times when out and about.

I also use Tune-in radio, I used to listen to it on my iPhone and it was great until I changed to Android where the app is a little shitty and keeps buffering which is bloody annoying.

Deezer - If you are on a EE 4Gee contract you can get Deezer as an inclusive add on for free which allows you to stream and listen to music while online however you can also sync playslists to be able to listen to music while you are offline


I'm using the Andriod OS so some App's may no be available to you if you are using iOS

Google Play Music, completely free and uploads your entire itunes library online so as long as you have internet you can stream it or save it to your phone if you want. So a lot like Deezer Leeds_Trotter mentioned.

Showbox is great for movies, has to be downloded through google though.
