Bolton Wanderers fans' disgust at flare thrown during derby game

Bolton Wanderers supporters have expressed anger after a flare was thrown into the corporate box by a Blackburn Rovers fan on Boxing Day's derby game.

Fans took to Twitter to voice their outrage about the incident, which happened in the second half of the game at the Macron Stadium.

Jim Murphy, the leader of the Scottish Labour Party, also posted a comment, saying that the game was "incident packed".

A spokesman for GMP confirmed that a "smoke bomb" had been thrown by a Blackburn fan.

Its almost nailed on that a flare will be let off in the away section at Huddersfield this Sunday, as it isn't uncommon at our away fixtures. Throwing it into an enclosed area is particularly  stupid though, no doubt the stewards and police identified the culprits judging by the number that waded in there.
