DIY disasters

I hate DIY and hate even attempting the smallest jobs. Just now i nearly stuck my fingers together with super glue and my hands are red raw from trying to get it off. I was only trying to stick a shelf front edge back on 

Whats your biggest DIY disaster?

The first thing to do with super glue is shove the infected area in water. Superglue doesn't like water!
I can't be doing with painting but I'll have a pop at almost anything below the roof level.

I took the radiators off the bedroom wall to paint behind them in my first house. Finished painting, went to bed. Got up the next morning to find all the wallpaper on one wall of the just finished decorated living room was piss wet through and hanging off. Hadn't closed the radiator properly so there was water leaking down.
