After the fantastic win against Fulham football club on Bolton's turf where we won 3-1 and due to the record we have with them, it looked highly likely that we would lose, our next game is against Watford at the Macron.

Watford are currently in 5th position with 53 points where as Bolton are currently in 13th place with 37 points, 15 points from the play-offs and 7 points from relegation.

Here are the last 5 Bolton v Watford stats to help make up your minds on the score!

Watford 3-0 Bolton
Bolton 2-0 Watford
Watford 0-1 Bolton
Watford 2-1 Bolton
Bolton 2-1 Watford

Here are the Hornets last 5 Championship results:

Brentford 1-2 Watford win
Watford 1-0 Blackburn win
Bournemoth 2-0 Watford loss
Watford 7-2 Blackpool win
Watford 5-0 Charlton win

Watford's recent run of games has been superb for them with only losing against Bournemouth which means they have won 4 out of their last 5 games.

I feel this will be a hard game for Bolton due to the form that Watford is on and I predict a draw.

My prediction: Bolton 2-2 Watford

How do you all feel we will do?

Ref watch: Eltringham in charge

Geoff Eltringham will take charge of Wanderers’ home clash with Watford on Saturday.

The County Durham-based official has overseen three Whites’ fixtures in the past, all at Macron Stadium, including Neil Lennon’s side’s 3-0 victory over Cardiff City back in November.

Mr Eltringham has officiated 24 matches so far this season, handing out 63 yellow cards and seven red cards.

David Benton and Jason Tyas will run the line, while Jeremy Simpson is the fourth official.

Seven goals in their last 2 games, it will rattle them when they cant score and they will start getting desperate. That's when Feeney will score. 3-0 Bolton.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

Another 3-1 victory. Can see it being a bit more difficult than fulham but we're good at home so I reckon we'll take three points.

Start of a run of tough games and it would be great if we win this before heading off on the road. I think we might.

Preview: Bolton v Watford

SETTING THE SCENE

Bolton Wanderers face promotion-chasing Watford on Saturday looking to build on Tuesday night’s impressive victory against Fulham.

However, visitors Watford also come into the tie full of confidence after securing a last-minute 2-1 away victory over play-off rivals Brentford in their last outing.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side have won four of their last five matches, but with mixed success on their travels, Wanderers will be keen to maintain their unbeaten record under Neil Lennon at Macron Stadium.

TEAM NEWS

Matt Mills (knee) could be available having returned to first team training on Friday, but Craig Davies and Emile Heskey (both hamstring) will again miss out, with the duo currently pencilled in for potential returns against Nottingham Forest next week.

Adam Bogdan (ankle) and Liam Trotter (thigh) also remain on the sidelines, while Darren Pratley (hamstring), Marc Tierney (leg), Mark Davies and Max Clayton (both knee) all remain long-term absentees.

LAST WATFORD XI (v Brentford, W 1-2)

Gomes, Paredes, Angella, Cathcart, Anya (Hoban 89), Toszer, Watson (Abdi 58), Layun, Ighalo, Forestieri, Deeney (Vydra 84).

ONE TO WATCH

With 14 goals to his name from just 14 league starts and 11 from his last seven league appearances, Watford’s leading goalscorer Odion Ighalo has been a revelation for the Hornets since joining the club from Serie A sided Udinese last summer.

The former Nigeria youth international started his career in his homeland with stints at Prime and Julius Berger before signing for Lyn Oslo in September 2007 – later joining Udinese the following year after a prolific season in Norway.

Having spent the majority of the past five seasons on loan at La Liga side Granada, Ighalo initially signed for Watford on loan in July 2014 before the deal was made permanent in October after his Udinese contract was terminated.

LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE (Bolton 2-0 Watford, 22 February 2014)

First-half goals from loanees Lukas Jutkiewicz and Joe Mason saw Wanderers record a 2-0 win the last time Watford visited Macron Stadium.

Having only re-joined the Whites from Cardiff City earlier in the week, Mason had already twice been denied a debut goal by keeper Manuel Almunia before Jutkiewicz poked home Jay Spearing’s free-kick at the far post to fire Bolton ahead.

Mason doubled the Trotters lead on the stroke of half-time, firing past Alumnia after being sent free by Neil Danns’ header to wrap up all three points as Watford struggled to threaten Adam Bogdan in the second half.
