As a man of eclectic musical tastes very little slips under my radar but I genuinely haven't heard of 5ive. Are they a popular music dance combo? I'm guessing from the clever way they use the number 5 to replace the "f" they were popular in the 90s?

East 17 I do remember as a total pop sell out give me the money shameless bunch of tarts who were about as "bad" as Mr Kipling.

Where both bands under the genre of Gushing?

I did have one. Not many people could pull off wearing one of these without looking a twat but I could.

It went well with my sprayway, Kappa trackies and Rockport. Cool as fuck I was.

To "sell out" you have to have been something else prior to being a pop act. East 17 were always a pop act.
