Off to Manc as well tomorrow, forgot about the Black Friday bollocks.

I need an umbrella, I might go and get a bargain, or just not bother.

I don't believe there's a Mrs KP. Sorry.

Sounds like jealousy to me

Not jealousy, just curiosity.

If I lived with someone I wouldn't let them spend all night on the computer talking to strangers on a forum.

I don't live with him.

He's a fine lover but I don't let him stay the night.

She is 35 (tomorow) and real, she is older than me and she got asked for I.D in Lidl the other week when she was buying me a few bottles of beer! Very Happy

True story.

We all don't live in a bedsit on our own like you, Nat! Laughing

Another goddamn americanism. Why are retailers celebrating Thanksgiving?

Could it be to make money?

I know we're little more than an American colony these days but where will it stop?

Will they have us celebrating "Freedom from British Rule" Day?

They surely will - and not too long after that we'll all be celebrating Peeing Day on the second Saturday in March.

I'm nipping to Tesco now for some flour.

If I don't make it back, it's been great knowing you all.

I went to Tesco at 7.30 this morning, not a lot happening to be honest. I did manage to pick up a 4 pint bottle of milk for a quid, bargain.

Hardly a bargain. Only 89p at Asda.

Did you get out without being stripped bare? Or is Tesco a class above Asda?

What is the supermarket hierarchy these days?

I went to the one in Farnworth and they had a big sign up at the front door saying: "We are not doing Black Friday. If you want that sort of thing, get back in your chavvy car and go to the one in Walkden."

Or words to that effect.

My trip passed off without incident and I got home safe.

Bit boring really.

Mrs. McD just went down to Target to get a couple of iPads for Christmas, discounted on Black Friday plus with points they basically cost nothing. I told her not to go but she insisted... on her return, when I asked how it was, she simply replied 'Idiocracy' and went for a lie down.
