The 72 year old is apparently putting her ping pong balls away due to being diagnosed with cancer.

She spent 35 years doing "shows".

Has anyone had the pleasure of watching one of her shows?

Sad news. About the illness, I mean, not necessarily the act.

I bet Whittam would be an ideal replacement if it weren't for the maintenance aspect.
