Championship club Blackburn Rovers have signed former Bolton Wanderers winger Liam Feeney on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.

Feeney, 29, previously spent time on loan at Blackburn at the end of the 2013-14 season, making six appearances.

The former Bournemouth and Millwall man, who finished last season on loan at Ipswich Town, made 71 league starts for Bolton during a two-year contract.

Rovers finished 15th in the table last term, 15 points clear of relegation.

Feeney is the club's fourth signing so far this summer, joining full-back Stephen Hendrie plus strikers Anthony Stokes and Danny Graham.

Clearly not. He's signed a snooker player to play full back.

Unlike many I think Feeney will de well there, we had many players worse than him last season and still he was singled out.
He was one of the very few we had last season who never hid IMO

I agree, I rate Feeney quite highly and think he could turn out to be a very clever signing for Blackburn.

Agreed... he was our best player by far.......shame he couldn't come back as he would have done well in League 1.

his end product was wanting a lot of the time but you could say the same for most wingers over the years, i always liked him as he never gave up and let his head drop unlike some of the other senior pro's.

Good luck to him but did he have to go to Blackburn? Hope he likes table tennis  Very Happy

Kids today don't know they're born.

You should have seen some of the tripe we had to put up with in the 80's.

Simon Rudge, Ray Deakin, Graham Bell, Steve Elliott, etc.

The list's endless.

i missed out on the first 3 but i remember Steve Elliott, he was shocking. Didn't we have another striker around then called Stevens? Can't remember his first name though but he was shite as well

Coyle's signings look OK TBF - always liked Anthony Stokes and he had an incredible goal-scoring record at the Hoops - something approaching a goal every other game. Thinking about it, he's exactly what we need FFS.
