WANDERERS could run the rule over THREE new trialists in Saturday’s first friendly against Atherton Collieries.

Although it is still unclear after yesterday’s meeting with the Football League whether the club is still in a total transfer embargo, Phil Parkinson has pressed ahead with his recruitment plans.

Three new faces have been invited to train with a view to earning a contract in the development squad, should the transfer restrictions be relaxed.

Jonathan Kindermans, a Belgian winger once on the books at Anderlecht, has been handed a week-long trial.

The 21-year-old is currently playing for Dutch outfit RKC Waalwijk and has a 12-month option on his contract which has not yet been activated.

Kindermans is a close friend of Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj and both players came through the Anderlecht academy run by his father, Jean.

He played for another Dutch club, Telstar, in 2015 scoring six goals in 31 appearances, but struggled to hold down a place at Waalwijk, starting just 17 games last term.

Romanian Constantin Sandu is the second player looking to earn a contract with the Whites.

Formerly in the youth ranks of Italian club Juventus, the young winger has been playing with the Inspire Football Academy in an effort to find a club this summer.

Finally, Wanderers are also running the rule over English striker Jarvis Nutt.

A product of the Hertford Youth club, Nutt was also on the radar of Premier League Crystal Palace in the last few weeks.

All three could get a run-out at Alder House on Saturday, with a full house expected to see the Whites play their first pre-season friendly before flying out to Scandinavia for a fitness camp.

Wanderers played a youthful side in the corresponding fixture last season but after releasing the mainstay of the Under-21 group and also seeing the departure of development squad coach Iain Brunskill, it remains to be seen whether Phil Parkinson will be in the dugout or whether it will be delegated to one of the backroom or academy staff.

The squad officially returns for pre-season training this morning, with tomorrow’s double session set to be open to the media.

Ken Anderson discussed what would need to be done to bring the club out of embargo with the Football League yesterday but was expecting the decision to come in written form over the next few days.

We need to sign Jarvis Nutt simply for his name, if nothing else.

Jarvis Nutt simply HAS to be signed. I don't care if he's worse than me, I want a BWFC shirt with "Nutt" on the back don't you?

I've never even heard of this guy before but God I hope he's decent and comes to play for us. It should lead to some truly awesome terrace songs if nothing else. Very Happy
