Would you like to be given an option to stand when watching games? At away games its pretty standard and seems to help with the atmosphere.

It appears Shrewsbury are putting plans in to put this in place:

Celtic and someone else trialled this last season and it looks OK although I'd have thought that both seats and barriers would massively increase the cost to the club.

And some folk prefer seating especially when they've got a giant wearing a top hat sat in front of them as often happens.

Nonetheless its an interesting development.

As a short arse NO!!!!

To be fair when i was younger it did add to the atmosphere, however be prepared to stand for an hour before kick off to get a decent spot, no walking around Tesco at 2.45 pm before breezing into your designated seat.

I wouldn't mind us having a standing section, not sure i would want to go in it these days to be honest, had enough of that back at Burnden.

The one at Celtic looks good and seems to work well but as Lusty says it would be a cost to convert to the special seats that can be put back to create the standing.

I always go in knobhead corner to stand up as I can't sit down and for the atmosphere also as it's much better.

Wanderlust has been campaigning for years for an Armchair section.

Now that is a great idea, could we get service to the armchair as well? A pie and a pint would be nice while i'm watching from the comfort of my armchair  Very Happy

You could easily fit an armchair in your box.

I don't stand up when I'm watching football at home.

Unless the old farmer Giles are playing up. I might buy a tartan rug to put over my knees.

Might as well look the part.

A half time pee at the Macron is almost impossible. There's a five day waiting list.

If you wring them out and use them again, they'll last quite a while, (so I've been told).  Very Happy

Can you peg them on the line? Or do they look embarrassing?
