It's a waste of time as even if Parliament vote against the Bill we will leave the EU anyway with no deal so we're screwed either way.

I've said this all along. What do people expect ? We negotiate with the EU, it comes to Parliament, and they say no. Do the same people actually expect the EU to renegotiate, just because we don't like it ? Come on you lot.wake up ! The Europeans don't give a monkey's toss what we think, or want. Its always been a take-it-or-leave it situation.
Lord Dyson has it right. Walk away, and let them come to us.

Because jumping off a cliff is always a good negotiating position. Rolling Eyes

As long as they think we will, it opens up all sorts of possibilities. And if we do, it all depends how far we fall, and how we land. Not to do it just because you're scared, isn't the best way forward, especially when you know you wont die.

My understanding of this is that there will be no vote until after a deal has been struck which gives Parliament two options: Accept whatever deal Davies ends up with or accept no deal. Given that most Remainers have already made it clear that no deal is unacceptable they are not really being given any kind of choice.
