WANDERERS (4-4-2)

REMI MATTHEWS…6

Would have been another high mark had it not been for his error on the winning goal. Massive shame – but hopefully won’t dent his confidence.

PAWEL OLKOWSKI…6

Gave away the penalty with a rash challenge but recovered to defend well for the rest of the game.

DAVID WHEATER…7

Protected the penalty area well, won plenty in the air, a pretty solid day at work.

MARK BEEVERS…7

Playing at a reliable level at the moment and took his goal really well. The Wheevers partnership is starting to exert itself on the Championship.

CALLUM CONNOLLY…6.5

Worked quite well down the left with Noone for the first hour and defended pretty well. Starting to settle.

GARY O’NEIL…7

Seemed to get involved everywhere. Keeping O’Neil fit might be more important than people realise in the remaining 12 games.

JASON LOWE…7

Won more than his fair share of the ball and directed traffic throughout. One of the most under-rated members of Wanderers’ dressing room.

JOE WILLIAMS…6.5

Has the bite and attitude that might just help Wanderers out of this hole. But he’s a better player on the ball than he’s showing right now.

CRAIG NOONE…7.5

If anyone deserves a big slap on the back for making this change in formation work, it’s Nooney. Runs himself into the ground on a weekly basis.

CLAYTON DONALDSON…6

Ran the channels, tracked back, did just about everything barring involvement in the penalty box. Didn’t actually touch the ball 18 yards from goal.

JOSH MAGENNIS…6

Should have added to his goal total this season but that isn’t a massive condemnation of the big striker’s performance – because he’s looking in decent shape.

Subs: Ameobi 74 (for Donaldson), Buckley 82 (for Noone), Murphy 86 (for Williams)

Not used: B Williams, Little, Hobbs, Vela

Leeds (4-1-4-1): Casilla, Alioski, Cooper, Jansson, Ayling, Phillips, Klich, Roberts, Harrison, Hernandez, Bamford Subs: Dallas 81 (for Roberts), Shackleton 90+4 (for Ayling)

Not used: Peacock-Farrell, Brown, Davis, Stevens, Gotts.

Referee: Tony Harrington (Northumberland) 4/10 – Holy heck, we have seen some poor refereeing performances in the Championship this season but this was one of the worst. Inconsistency streaked throughout. Parkinson’s sending off was weak and ill-informed.

Attendance: 34,144
