Wander, like most of us, is obviously of the opinion that that they aren't doing very well and he says so, very eloquently and cleverly I might add.

The other thing is that every time Sluffy gets into an argument with someone and comes out with line "Karly (or someone else) is only saying what we all think", I find myself thinking "No we aren't. How the fuck have you managed to come to that conclusion"

1 - Yes you are correct that is the thread title
2 - Fwiw, I don't think they are doing very well either - but I doubt any government would under the circumstance of a world pandemic which we weren't prepared for.
3 - I was referring to his attitude across everything he posts, not just exclusively this thread - Trump, the BBC, Ken Anderson, Brexit, BWFC - anything and everything at all in fact.
4 - Finally I'd be interested for you to quote me any other time I used that phrase - because I don't recall ever doing so before, at least not anytime recently, if ever?
5 - And I came to that conclusion because he IS a negative fucker, as evidenced by his avalanche of constant negative comments on a daily basis.  Forgive me for assuming everyone had picked upon on that long before now, as clearly you haven't.

My views on the danger that this government is putting my children’s and my country’s future in are heartfelt. I wouldn’t consider warning people not to put their head in a blender as “being negative” and equally neither is expressing my opinion on this matter.
If you feel it’s ok to stumble blindly into a catastrophe you are welcome to say so but at least allow me and others disagree without resorting pathetic carping and drivelling rhetoric.

This government was democratically elected.

It's leader, democratically elected.

It's leader AND the party even going once more to the country to be democratically elected - BY A LANDSLIDE.

It's one and only priority (at least until the pandemic struck) was to deliver Brexit - which was democratically voted on and which YOU EVEN VOTED IN FAVOUR OF!!!

Now you might not like the party, its leader or its politics, indeed I may not like the party, its leader, or their politics BUT they WON in not one but several free and open democratically held elections.
