Wanderers could bring Ali Crawford back for his first appearance since October in this weekend’s game at MK Dons.

The Scottish midfielder made a return to full training at the start of the week and Keith Hill has confirmed he will be a part of the squad travelling to Milton Keynes, and the following away game at Blackpool.

He has not featured since picking up a knee injury against Manchester City's Under-23s in late October.

Another midfield boost has materialised in the form of Ronan Darcy, who has been out for the last few weeks with a foot injury.

The academy graduate last played for Wanderers in the victory against Tranmere but should play some part this weekend.

The wait to see Tottenham loanee Anthony Georgiou will continue, however, with Hill confirming the winger will not now link-up with the team until the start of next week.

Citing a “minor injury” the Bolton boss believes Georgiou will join training on Monday.

“Crawford and Darcy, yes, but Georgiou probably Monday," he said in the pre-match press conference.

“We’ve had a little setback, and haven’t had confirmation from Tottenham yet with respect of his due date, so we’re hopeful for Monday.

“It’s all very positive. I have got to meet up later with Matty Barrass (physio) about Ronan.”

Jack Hobbs has suffered no reaction after coming through his first full 90 minutes of football since October but the Whites are still likely to be without Kean Bryan and long-term casualty, Will Buckley.
