Just been on the BN website and now can't access any of their articles unless i register for another 20 or subscribe for £4.99 a month!

Their website is awful and full of adverts and pop-ups, i only go on it to catch up on news now i no longer live there but no more. I'm definitely not paying to read their output, the robbing buggers!

The Bolton News is getting rather pathetic these days.

I'm quite surprised that the BEN still allow comments on articles as it's just a kiddies playground with that.

It's just a mickey mouse paper really.

I haven't personally seen them but it appears that they have now disabled comments on this article which is a good thing.

That he was a one trick pony, wasn't funny any more, if he ever was. One said he was sick of seeing his fat, ugly face. There were more, but I won't share them.
Pathetic really.

I did see the comment you left on the article on there.

I was about to give you the wrath of my tongue for cheating on us until I read it all. Very Happy

Sick of this website now, practically every article is blocked unless you subscribe! Its definitely got worse recently as there used to be some articles you could read without subscribing but virtually none now  Rolling Eyes

Yes some are behind a pay wall but you can still view a lot of articles by using an adblocker such as Adblock plus and deleting the Bolton news cookies.

Bought a copy when I was in Walkden last week, and it was the usual rubbish. The thought of paying a yearly subscription is laughable.
