New Years Eve

How is everyone bringing in the New Year? Anyone got a great night planned?

I'm probably just going to get a 'bit tipsy' at home with a couple of mates and family members.

I hate NYE with a passion. Awful night full of people pretending to be having a good time.

I'll be in bed with a good book by 11pm.

Like others I can't be bothered with it anymore. I'll be watching the last few episodes of the Killing on DVD as I missed it when it was on earlier in the year.

NYE - Load of toffee bollocks. Can't be doing with being forced / pretending to "have a good time".

Feel like I am about to die (Flu) so will celebrate New Year by trying to stay alive.

I have had the flu bug for over a fortnight and just been taking Covonia and Night Nurse. I'm glad I'm staying at home because I don't feel like going out.

Got a party that I am going to, along with my girlfriend, but also using the party as our leaving party as well. Shame to be leaving for the next few months but an opportunity is an opportunity and Tower Hamlets isn't that bad, I suppose!!!!

Anyway this is possibly last message for 2012 so have a good New Years whether you are staying in, or not, and hope that 2013 is happy and prosperous for one and all. See you all on the other side of midnight!

Compulsory festivities for me. Just back from a week's skiing so didn't see anyone bar the missus and the folk we met on holiday at Xmas - which was fun enough as missus was propositioned by a Geordie lass and her toy collection at the end of a night out, but declined despite my encouragement and willingness to participate in a supporting role. Tonight is an overnight party at mates house fuelled by flatliners (layers of tequila, sambuca and habanero sauce - definitely an icebreaker!) and anything else that comes to hand. Should make it to Bolton next weekend to dosh out family Xmas pressies if recovered in time.
