Four murderers and a drug dealer are in line for taxpayer-funded fertility treatment so that they can father a child from behind bars.
The killers are demanding to be allowed to take part in IVF treatment despite serving life sentences. Ministers may be powerless to refuse because of a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights concerning the right to a private and family life.
Turning down the prisoners’ demands could lead to court action and compensation claims running into tens of thousands of pounds.

I am sure I don't need to say anything other than there are no words.

How can you have a private family life when you are in prison? I am sure this will be kicked into touch.

This is a classic Daily Mail article all bluster and little substance.

It says 1 prisoner had been given treatment and since then 13 applications have been made and none of them have gone through.

The rest is a lot of maybe, maybe, maybe, could, could could.

but be ANGRY!

Another Daily Fail exposure which is basically not true!!! It is in their infite wisdom to get people going against the ECHR, and the EU with false stories, jusdt because these bodies have Europe in their name and the Daily Fail do not like being part of a European Family (although the UK has been in the continent of Europe for ever!!!). The ECHR do not have jurisdiction over the postcode lottery that is the NHS which would have ground rules with regards to IVF - and each NHS Trust rules are different!

The daily mail can be an entertaining paper to read, thats what its mean't to be and thats how its written. Most is clearly bullshit.

It has to be taken with a pinch/bucket of salt.

I'm starting to think the Daily Mail might support UKIP.

Understandably so. Personally I was indignant, umbrageous and increasingly irascible.
