Adam Bogdan injury update

Marc Illes spoke to Bogdan after the match. Adam told him that it was a groin problem which is being treated but doesn't know if he'll miss tuesdays match against the inbreds.

I hope he does, Lonergan deserves his chance.

haha, no i am not!

Like it or not, bogdan has played well for the last 3 games. Admittedly he's made mistakes, but on more than one occasion he's saved the game. Lonergan hasn't been under the cosh quite like bogdan has, and though I would like to see him in the nets, I think I would prefer bogdan to stay in place just now.

He played well in the first half and caught everything that went near him. He did make a good save just after we'd gone 3-2 up.

The second goal was definitely his fault and I'll have to see the first again tbh. I think he should've done better though.

A lot of room for improvement imo.

Bogdan makes too many mistakes. He's a decent shot-stopper but I reckon he's given the opposition 5 or 6 goals this season.

I don't think Branagan gifted the opposition 6 goals in his entire Bolton career. And while Jussi was prone to misakes, he was also a world class keeper in his prime who kept us in many a game.

Time for a change.

Could be a blessing in disguise? time will tell.

Goalie's should be rotated in the squad just like every other position. So I have no problem bringing Lonnie in for a game or two.
