True... but the groundsman at the Macron certainly knows his onions whereas his opposite number at Bloomfield Road looks as if he has been using the pitch for growing them.

Not necessarily the groundmans fault Reebok Trotter, it may be a lack of investment (which would tie in with that knob Oyston).

Bolton have a Desso Grassmaster hybrid pitch (like Burnley and quite a few others) which is a lot easier to maintain. Although it does still need looking after properly.

I think it reflects badly on a club on match days when the pitch looks like a midden. What happened to pride? Mind you, Bradford had a good run in the FA Cup this year on the strength of their cabbage patch.

I think Blackpool's pitch reflects the owner.
