Giant asbestos tarantula on the loose in UK

A giant spider skin (from a shedding spider) was found in the attic of a building during an asbestos survey. They don't know if it's a one off or a population of them have started to breed in Wales. But they also think it might be contaminated with asbestos which can cause spiders to mutate to twice their normal size*.


*I might have added that last bit about size for fun.

Would you shit yourself if you found a tarantula in your attic?

Their bite isn't particularly poisonous, so no.

Your average house spider can't even bite people but ppl still crap it when they see one scuttling toward them.

The're a good source of protein.

Yep, i hate spiders if i saw one as big as a dinner plate In my house i might never go home again.

I've never been worried by UK spiders or anything that can legally be kept as a pet.

I wouldn't hang around some of the spiders down under though!
