Hard one for me, really as I don't really like fairgrounds. If anything it probably has to come from theme parks and to be nhonest its the log-flumes or those of similar ilk!

This is a thread about fairground rides.

Not wife swapping clubs.

Good one, think it's called The Viking Boat.

That boat always used to make my stomach lurch. If it wasn't for the bar you would end up dropping out.

The sizzler or the pirate ship.

Also, does anybody remember the mexican hat at Frontierland, Morecambe?

Used to take the kids there, one good thing about being a parent you got to go on the rides.

Pirate Adventure at Drayton mannor. The absolute best ride ever, doesn't work, the walls are peeling off and you can get out and walk around it's so slow.

brilliant.

Sound like Around The World at Alton Towers. Anybody been on that? Me and about 5 others got thrown of it half way round for splashing water on each other. It was that slow they made us just get out while it was moving and we had to walk the rest of the way.

I love any kind of roller coaster and have been on some monsters - despite which my favourite in the entire world - and always will be - is the wooden one in Blackpool - the 70 odd year old Grand National. It's just a classic.

I used to enjoy the Grand National and its little cousin called The Mouse. Anyone remember the Mouse? It didn't half corner at speed.

The Mouse was dangerous. You'd twat your knees against the side or the person next to you.

Yes, there was hardly any leg room once you sat down. It looked so bloody rickety you expected it to collapse at any time.
