Club or Country?

Manchester City manager Mancini has told his captain Kompany that he and other players should put their club before their country.

"I think sometimes the player should understand that the club is more important," said Mancini.

So, if you were a pro footballer what would you put first, Bwfc or England?

They are not mutually exclusive. There's absolutely no reason why a player shouldn't play for both when fit.

You have to choose your country everytime IMO.

Personally I'd choose Bolton.

I doubt many Bolton players feel the same though.

Every footballer should be aiming to play for his country - unfortunately the modern day footballer would rather be in the TV studio.

My view would be that I play enough football during the season.

Now! show me that beach, i will watch the Euros, or the world cup on the telly abroad.

Personally speaking I would rather play for my club and make sure it succeeds in its dreams - if a club didn't ahve the foresight for success then yes probably go for country (whilst looking for a new club)
