Do you talk to yourself?

Ian Brady has this morning claimed he has been misdiagnosed as mentally ill simply because he talks to himself.

So my question is this: does talking to yourself make you crazy?

I talk to myself all the time. If I'm doing something difficult I might say "come on Natasha, finish the job" or if I'm alone in my apartment I regularly play myself at Pictionary - a game where you have to speak.

Am I crazy? Of course not.

So what about you, do you talk to yourself?

Brady only talks to himself because no other bugger will.

Years ago when people walked around talking to themselves they were considered nutters. Now people do it all the time, and they always have one of those Bluetooth things stuck in their ear.

Everyone talks to themselves, they just don't like admitting it.

I do occasionally. Get a better standard of conversation.

Everyone has an internal monologue, which is in essence talking to yourself.

I share an office with 3 other people and they all talk to themselves when they are working, sometimes all at the same time, drives me stupid as I can't concentrate with all the racket.

A woman that I work with, constantly talks to herself. I have to tell her, when it starts to get really annoying. She is surprised that she's even doing it.

I do talk to myself, usually in the supermarket, normally If I'm trying to find a product.

I find it to be one way to ensure an intelligent conversation.

There was a woman on my team, until she moved departments last month, and her nickname on the team was "Whitenoise" as it was constant noise and chit chat coming from her!!

I don't really talk to myself but I do call myself a lot, using swear words.

I'd put him in a proper prison so he would starve himself, I'd get him a room next to the prison kitchen, and put a homosexual room mate who is never coming out of prison on the bottom bunk for him.
