Captain Zat.

So when shits hitting the fan and the players need some inspiration , do you think our' leader of men' Zat ' the lionheart ' will calm the boys down and organise ?

What do you think of our new captain ?

I hope it makes him a better player.

It could be one of the worst decisions ever.

Why would you make your most error prone player captain?

Baptiste was the obvious choice.

We'll see how it goes, although with Zat I always felt he has plenty of inspiration and not enough organisation.

Baptiste is new I'm not sure a player can capture the respect of the players that quick.

I wouldn't have picked Zat in a million years though, you're supposed to lead by example.

I'd rather have had, well anyone.

Moaning about individuals before the the season has even started wont help anyone. Hows about we get  behind the team, manager and his decisions eh?

Its a surprising decision or is it ?? Who else ?? Spearing if we still had him ?? Mavies if he was fit ??  The only constant in the team will be Bogdan ! Oh for a Nolan a Reid,Skd in his prime ?? Its a sorry state of affairs Im afraid but we dont have a natural leader in the middle to grab the team by the balls and shake the rest up hence our problems week in week out ?

Knight doesn't get all the credit he's due from Bolton fans from a footballing point of view. Nowhere near the worst player last season as some would have you believe.

Sadly, this Bolton squad isn't awash with level-headed, lionhearted leaders.

Agree,hence our problem for seasons past and the season which is about to start,not good !!

It was a no brainer really, at least now we do have a captain because for the last few years we aint!!

He's a good choice considering who is available. He's been here a few years now, and like Doffcocker said, he wasn't as bad as people think last season. He was pretty good I thought on the whole.

Being captain has nowt to do with skill on the ball ..... he is probably the best pick right now.

With Freedman picking Knight as captain and also picking the Ginger Ninga in the nets, how can anything go wrong?
