Craig Davies

Chris Boden who works for the Burnley Express as the Burnley FC writer and he sometimes commentates on our games on Radio Lancs, has suggested that we 'might' be in for Craig Davies.

Boden is fairly well connected at Burnley and doesn't come out with shite. Although the operative word here is 'might'.

I'd be surprised to see Cravies sign for Burnley. Apparently, Burnley have offered around £7K a week wages for Billy Sharp(loan) Cravies I'd imagine will be on at least double that and I can't see Burnley paying that for him, plus a minimum price tag of around £500K I reckon.

We offered Charlie £15,000 a week to stay (that was Charlie though) and apparently Bolton need to off load to get players in.

Having said that, I would be surprised as well if we signed Davies.

If, as I suspect, Freedman's ambition is to rid the club of all heart and passion I suspect this move will happen.

I'm fully expecting a deadline day bid for Dale Winton to replace him.
