Going down the pub to watch it,watching Sky Reds and Blues fans is hilarious as 99% of them have never seen the sky over the place much less been to a match and to hear some of their informed comments is brilliant !

This is awesome, 4-0 to city after 50 mins. United are getting what they deserve for the lack of investment in the team this summer. It was clear to see for everyone that in central midfield they are so ordinary. Their wingers like Young and Valencia are so bloody average. Now they don't have the genius that is Ferguson they will find it so much harder.

Should we both support City?

I am still a Torquay fan. They still talk of the great days when they had both Natasha Whittam and Michael Bolton behind them.

Vincent Kompany is a beast, the best centre back in the premier league without a doubt.

United are very average but to fair to Rooney he didn't let his head drop, probably the only united player to look decent.

It really does show how good Ferguson was - they won the league by 11 points last season even most people thought their central midfield was crap. Carrick, Cleverley and Giggs was woeful and to be fair to Moyes he wanted to strengthen there badly with bids for Fabregas and Alcantara supposedly. Fellaini seemed like a desperation signing because they could have signed him for £23m if they wanted him at the start of the summer.

City have a far better team man for man than United. Their midfield and attack looks sensational right now. Yaya and Fernandinho looks awesome in the centre of the park and attacking midfielders like Silva, Nasri, Navas and Aguero with Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic is dangerous. United have crap like Valencia, Young, Welbeck and, Cleverley who are regular first team players and IMO they are not good enough for United. They will improve when Nani, Kagawa and RVP come back into the starting line up though.

Wouldn't it be awesome if United failed to make the top 4? It could happen, City, Arsenal and Chelsea you would fancy to be in there and Spurs look excellent this season. I would love it, if they missed out on the champions league.

I think the Premier League title is wide open this season.

It's way too early to write David Moyes off. United have been outclassed at City countless times over the years, not forgetting the 6-1 at Old Trafford only two seasons back. Same goes for Anfield.
They didn't manage a win at Swansea under Ferguson, let alone a 4-1.

I think it could be the most open title race for years.

Whoever wins it, they will not win it by much for sure.

I hope Arsenal win the league personally.
